This rough cut spot was a finalist for a Promax Award in the category Best Spot That Never Aired. Mad Men creator Matt Weiner wasn't comfortable with the themes highlighted in the spot so he asked AMC not to pursue it.
Originally the assignment was to target Mad Men fans while promoting the new western series Hell On Wheels. I focused on the eras of change - the 60s - during which each drama was set, albeit a century apart.

This spot was used to promote Fear the Walking Dead on the phones of T-Mobile customers.
Using the limited footage from a low budget shoot, I created a creepy walking dead invasion that ends with the walker desperately trying to reach the phone user, only to be stopped by the phone's screen.

Occasionally AMC would air an unscripted special event, like a tribute concert, and I would have the opportunity to create a musical promo, like this one, with live footage as opposed to scripted scenes from movies or series.

The assignment for this spot was to target the fans of the popular series, The Walking Dead, to promote a new western series, The Son.
Without footage from The Walking Dead, I took advantage of a zombie-like hallucination scene from The Son to establish the link between the two brutal dramas.
